Last Supper inside Hands
Framing the Last Supper within a pair of cupped hands gives the image an additional layer of devotional meaning — the hands of God, of priests, of the believer's own hands joined in prayer. The composition recalls how the Eucharistic bread is held during the consecration of the Mass, and how Christian art has always found ways to bring the cosmic narrative of salvation down to the size of human gesture.
