Olympic Gods
Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth
Hestia, eldest of the Olympians and sister of Zeus, was the goddess of the hearth, of home, and of the sacred flame at the heart of every Greek household and city. She received the first offering of every meal and presided over the eternal fire of the Prytaneum that bound each polis together. Quiet, devoted, and chaste, she chose service over spectacle — a reminder that civilisation itself begins at the hearth, around which family, hospitality, and continuity are tended day by day.
