Athena, Goddess of Wisdom

Born fully armed from the head of Zeus, Athena was the goddess of wisdom, strategic warfare, crafts, and civic order. Patroness and namesake of Athens, she gifted the olive tree to humanity and guided heroes such as Odysseus, Perseus, and Heracles through their labours. Unlike her brother Ares, she championed war fought with reason, not rage — and her temple, the Parthenon, remains the most influential building in the Western architectural tradition.
